I am especially grateful for Jim Gomez's support and very long coattails. Jim's wife Brenda, Tom and Nancy Beamish, Vanna Sharp, Josie Anderson, Carmen and Dan Henderson, and Tim Shaw have my gratitude too! Special thanks to Silvia Jenn and her son Gregory, America's newest Eagle Scout, for all they've done on my behalf. Finally, Jennifer, Amanda, and Lauren have contributed the most; their time, energy, encouragement, and support. They have endured much over the past few months and deserve the biggest thanks of all.

You’ve seen our last mailer, but not the last post! So here it is; a final request for the support of those who will be casting your vote at your precinct polling station. To those who have already voted by mail, thank you.
There is still time to share with your family, friends, and neighbors my pledge to work for safe neighborhoods, business and economic development, fiscal responsibility and accountability, programs for youth, and services for seniors. Just forward this email to your family, friends, and neighbors or give them a call. This looks to be a close race, making every vote critical.
Jim Gomez and I will be celebrating the end of a long campaign beginning at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Please join Jennifer, Amanda, Lauren and me, along with Jim and Brenda, our families, and friends at Westridge for appetizers and to watch the returns as they posted on the Orange County Registrar of Voters website http://www.ocvote.com/live/gen2010/results.htm.
Once again, thanks for your encouragement and support.
Mike

Kudos to the more than 50 teachers from the La Habra City School District who walked precincts today in support of Sandi Baltes and Amber Gould, candidates for School Board. Jim Gomez and I thank you for representing us as well.

Lauren and Michael setting up at La Fiesta
Congratulations to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Family for a very successful La Fiesta. Check out the article and photos on the Orange County Register website
http://www.ocregister.com/news/event-269462-volunteers-fiesta.html. The Gomez-Blazey team thanks Father Justin MacCarthy, Scott Miller, and the many organizers and volunteers for a memorable event. We had a great time visiting with family and friends, many of whom took home nearly 100 yard signs. Your support on November 2nd will assure our victory. Remember, vote for 2 on November 2; Gomez & Blazey!

Last week was especially busy with the League of Women Voters of North Orange County Candidate Forum on Thursday evening and Saturday's fund raiser. Thanks to all who attended both events. It was a pleasure to respond to voters' questions at the Forum and visit with so many neighbors, friends, and new acquaintances at the fund raiser. These and other events always bring fresh perspectives and many great ideas about how to meet La Habra's needs. If I have not had a chance to visit with you personally and there are some concerns or ideas you would like to share, just click on the EMAIL link above. Your questions or comments are welcome.
The League of Women Voters asked the candidates to prepare a biography and answers to two questions for distribution at the forum. Please click on the following link to view a copy.

My thanks go out to those who have contributed to my campaign and/or attended the fundraiser on June 18th. Josie Anderson, Silvia Jenn, Danny and Ofelia Hanson deserve a special thanks for hosting and sponsoring the fundraiser. Their generosity and yours have made it possible for me to partner with Jim Gomez to
distribute U.S. flags at the La Habra 4th of July celebration, file my
candidacy paperwork, and go live with this website.
